Pecha Kucha Auckland

7:00pm     Presentations begin
8:30pm     Event concludes

A Pecha Kucha night is an event format in which presenters show a slideshow of 20 images, each of which is shown for 20 seconds giving a total presentation time of 6 minutes 40 seconds. Each event usually has 8 - 14 presenters.  On 5 July the event is titled ‘Auckland on the Move’.  It is free to attend; but there will be a cash bar.  This event will be held at Hopetoun Alpha, which is a 10 minute walk from Rendezvous Hotel.

Spokes Ladies Ride

Wednesday 6 July

5:00pm   Meet at entrance to Aotea Centre (50 Mayoral Drive, CBD)
5:30pm   Lower NZI room, attend the fabulous Auckland Conversations hosted by 2WALKandCYCLE.
7:00pm   Ride from Aotea back to Nelson Street, via the beautiful waterfront.
7:30pm   Arrive at Brothers Beer CWD to enjoy refreshments (route will be adapted to suit weather), and have a stimulating discussion about the event.
8:30pm   Ride to K'Rd via pink path, with stops for photos. An additional option to stop in at Madame George for a night cap
9:00pm   Approximately ride ends (or cruise off when you feel like it)

If you cant make it to Auckland Conversations, please meet after at Aotea square after for the rest of the ride!

Scarlett and Jessica will be your stylish hostesses for this event. All bike types/styles/ages/fitness levels and speeds are encouraged.

We have a 'give it a go' inclusive policy so whether you're a newbie or hardcore it's about getting woman on bikes together.

Te Ara I Whiti  - The Lightpath

Wednesday 6 July

7.00pm onwards     Leave Aotea Centre (after conclusion of Auckland Conversations)

Join Living Streets Aotearoa on an interactive walk from Aotea Centre, up K Road to view part of the light path "Te Ara I Whiti" – for cyclists and pedestrians.
